Only registered puppies are eligible to receive registration papers, which may be delivered along with your puppy, or it may take up to six months to receive.
All expenses related to acquiring new or renewed registration papers are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. In case of loss of papers, Central Park Puppies will assist the purchaser in obtaining new ones, at the purchaser's expense.

If a return of the puppy is necessary for any reason, it will be done without a refund or credit, and the purchaser will be responsible for covering all travel expenses. Each breed of dog has its distinct physical and temperamental traits. It is crucial that the Purchaser familiarizes themselves with these traits. The American Kennel Club provides a comprehensive directory of all recognized breeds, which can be found at https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/. We strongly suggest that the Purchaser visits this site for information about the breed of puppy they are adopting.
Central Park Puppies does not guarantee the absence of health issues or surrenders for breeds belonging to the Brachycephalic breed group, where certain conditions that are normal for the breed may be present.
Brachycephalic breeds are dogs with flat faces and short, round heads, resulting from shortened skull bones. To prevent heatstroke, these breeds are recommended to be walked in cooler times and using a harness.
These breeds are not suited for outdoor living and may require stenotic nares surgery to open nasal passages. Any mixed breed puppy that includes a brachycephalic breed will also be considered as brachycephalic under this agreement as follows:
Affenpinscher | Cane Corso | Lhasa APSO |
American Bulldog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Mastiff |
American Staffordshire | Chihuahua (apple head) | Neapolitan Mastiff |
Boston Terrier | Shar-Pei (heavily wrinkled) | Newfoundland |
Boxer | ChowChow | Pug |
Brussels Griffon | Dogo Argentino | Shi Tzu |
Bull Mastiff | French Bulldog | Yorkshire Terrier |
Bulldog | Japanese Chin | Pekingese |
In addition to all these care guidelines, Noted that, puppies which are considered brachycephalic may also be refused Pet Safe Commercial Air travel and face other travel restrictions for traveling on commercial airlines.
An underbite refers to a condition where a dog's lower jaw extends further than its upper jaw, creating a gap between the teeth. This is a hereditary condition, but some dog breeds are known for having it as part of their breed standard. This includes purebreds as well as any designer breeds that are created by breeding these breeds.
Lhasa Apso | Boxer |
Pekingese | Brussels Griffon |
Pug | Bulldog |
Puggle | French Bulldog |
Boston Terrier | Shih Tzu |
English Bulldog |
Open fontanelles, or soft spots in the skull, are normal in young puppies, particularly in small breeds. These gaps between the skull's growth plates usually close or harden by 9-12 weeks. However, in some breeds, it is considered acceptable for fontanelles to remain open beyond this age. These open fontanelles typically do not cause any problems for the affected dog, and although there is a theoretical risk of increased susceptibility to brain injury in the event of a head injury, this is rare and dogs with persistent open fontanelles often live normal, healthy lives.
Heterochromia refers to a condition in which an individual has two eyes with differing colours, either in part or completely. This variation in eye colour is due to an unequal distribution of melanin in the iris, either an excessive amount (hyperchromic) or a deficient amount (hypochromic).
Available genetic research and feedback from breeders and dog owners indicate that certain breeds of dogs have an increased likelihood of producing puppies with heterochromia, or eyes of different colours;
Huskies | Welsh Corgis |
Shetland Sheepdog | Great Danes |
Alaskan Malamutes | Dachshunds |
Dalmatians | Australian Shephard dogs |
Border Collies | Catahoula Leopard dogs |
Beagles | Chihuahas |
Shih Tzus |

(For Puppies Purchased After 04-17-2023)
Central Park Puppies wants to inform potential puppy owners that owning a puppy involves regular veterinary visits and that the costs of these visits will be the responsibility of the owner.
Central Park Puppies makes every effort to ensure that puppies are healthy upon arrival, but as they are living creatures, health issues may arise.
Our commitment to addressing any health issues beyond the first year is contingent upon the owner purchasing pet insurance for the puppy for the first full 6 months from the date of arrival.
If the owner does not have an active insurance policy by a major medical pet health insurance provider for a minimum of the first 6 months, then our health commitment ends after the first year of your puppy’s arrival date.
The term "Veterinarian" refers to a licensed medical professional for animals as recognized by the state licensing authority.
The term “infectious period” refers to in this Agreement, the first Fourteen Days (14) after the puppy has been purchased by the purchaser and transferred to the customer’s home.
The "Purchase Price" referred to in this agreement only pertains to the cost of the puppy from Central Park Puppies and does not include any additional expenses such as taxes, shipping fees, health certificate costs, veterinarian expenses, shipping crates or any other costs incurred by the buyer.
Before a puppy is sent to its new home, it undergoes a thorough veterinary examination and the breeder follows our vaccination and deworming guidelines.
This commitment applies to any health issues that may arise after the puppy arrives.
This commitment is only valid for puppies that have been delivered and have continuously resided in the United States and Canada.
This commitment does not cover:
Low blood sugar, is a common issue for small breed puppies, especially those weighing 5 lbs. or less. Symptoms include low energy, loss of appetite, sluggishness, abnormal body temperature, and vomiting or diarrhea.
To prevent hypoglycemia, it is important to establish a proper and monitored feeding schedule for the puppy, especially during the first two weeks in their new home.
It may also be helpful to use supplements like NURI-CAL, NUTRI-STAT, KARO SYRUP, or processed honey to temporarily boost the puppy's energy and encourage them to eat.
Kindly note that hypoglycemia is not covered by our 10-year Health Commitment as it is not a hereditary or congenital condition, and it is ultimately the responsibility of the puppy's owner to ensure they are eating properly. We recommend familiarizing yourself with our cited video on hypoglycemia.
In order to be eligible for our 10-Year Health Commitment, certain obligations must be met. These include:
Failure to meet these obligations will result in the termination of this Health Commitment.
If you have met the conditions outlined in this 10- year health commitment and your puppy is experiencing a health issue that you believe may be covered under this commitment, it is important that you contact Central Park Puppies immediately. You can do this by emailing [email protected] or calling (914) 207 7558.

Best experience!! We had the pleasure of working with Ash and she was amazing! She arranged videos and pictures to be sent from the breeder before we received our new baby Piper. Communicate was great. And the delivery of our puppy was amazing! I would highly recommend anyone to purchase their new fur baby through Central Park Puppies!!!
I need to take a moment to say how excellent my experience has been with Central Park Puppies. Because of the pandemic, we were able to get our puppy delivered, which they did within 24 hours of us calling to say we wanted him. Our mini poodle Finley arrived healthy, happy, and lively and we cannot put into words how much we already love him. We were also able to order some preliminary puppy supplies for Finn, in addition to some free food and wee wee pads that they gave us. Though they forgot to deliver the additional wee wee pads we ordered, they delivered them the very next day with an apology. The manager of the store, Julian, has been excellent. Since getting Finley, he gave us an emergency number that we can call whenever we have a problem. He has always been quick to answer any questions I've had, and as a new dog owner, I've had many. The day after we got Finley, Central Park even called to see how he was doing. When I said he was being a picky eater, they called a few hours later to make sure he was eating all his food. They go above and beyond for their dogs and for their customers. I would highly recommend. We've had Finley for a week now and his first visit to the vet just proves what a healthy and happy dog he is. We couldn't be happier!
See MoreThe best and most trusting experience! We purchased a Cavapoo back in December and the entire process was the fastest and easiest thing I’ve ever witnessed. From applying for a payment plan, to receiving a decision in seconds and signing paperwork, to reviving communication from the delivery persons the day of. I was so shocked to love the entire process. The best part of course was walking out to the puppy van and finally getting to meet my pup. She is the cutest, smartest & most loving dog I’ve ever met and I am beyond happy with my decision of using Central Park Puppies. Could not have picked a more perfect dog. They even offered a free first visit at a local animal hospital and if I could give both companies 10 stars I would. Highkey recommend & if I ever decide to get a second pup, if it’s not from Central Park pups I don’t want it!
See MoreNever in my life have I been so satisfied with a purchase. My wife found Centralpups on Instagram and we got our beautiful, healthy Golden Doodle pup -- Whiskey -- from Centralpups.com. He came with all of his legitimate paperwork and vaccinations and joined our family just a few days ago. Customer service was outstanding. Veronica was super helpful and a pleasure to chat with. She answered all of our questions kindly and gave us some very helpful tips. Thank you so much!
See MoreSuper happy with my new baby, he’s an adorable F1 Cavapoo and the best thing that ever happen to me. I’m also really happy with the staff from Central Park Pups, no matter how many questions I have they’re always there to help me. 100% would recommend!
It's been 7 months since we got our mini golden doodle at Central Park Puppies. The workers are knowledgeable and friendly. We first saw our puppy Sofia on IG and called in. We were able to play with her the same day! A few days later, she was ours. We drove from Queens to get our little girl. We took her to a vet of our choice and she still is in perfect health. Thank God. We really didn't want to buy a puppy from a pet shop but once we saw Sofia, we knew we had a bond. Also, this shop doesn't get their puppies from puppy mills so we felt it was a good choice. When we picked her up we got some food to take home for her and they put on some cute bows and a bandana. So adorable! We are super happy with Sofia and she is definitely living her best life. The reason why I gave this place 4 stars is because we had to pay extra to register the microchip she came with (we paid a significant amount to the shop & feel it should have been no charge to register the chip) and the biggest reason is because after researching so much we can not find any info on the breeder that's on the paperwork that we got with Sofia. Overall, we are lucky & in love with Sofia, she's a happy & healthy F2 mini golden doodle.
See MoreFirst of all I want to thank you, you are a group of people who always answered all my questions in the best way. It was not easy for me to take the step of buying the dog, because it was online and I was afraid it was a scam, but I checked and read their good reviews and when I talked to them I calmed down a bit, the girls at the store were very friendly with me. The dog, my Rottweiler is beautiful and healthy the people who brought him to the door of my house excellent service I don't remember the name now but I still left a review on the page is express puppy🤔I think.., they were always in contact with me. I recommend them with my experience, everything went very well with my dog, papers in order, everything was fine.🙂 Thank you central park puppies and the Rottweiler Breeder👏👏
See MoreWe bought our little girl Korra from here and on Monday she turned one year old. Thank you Central Park Puppies.
I got my cockapoo puppy from here. At first i was a bit worried but, my puppy came home healthy and safe. He is the love of my life! I am so grateful to Central Park Puppies. He just turned 3 months old!
After over a year of searching every other state for the right bread for our family and lifestyle, I came across Central Park Puppies right here on Yelp. I am impressed with the quality of health and care this business has for their puppies and customers! They are NOT a puppy mill! Every dog has official paper work and breeding quality! Julian, stands by his word. I am grateful to have come across his place and to have had such an understanding person to work with my family circumstance to find our perfect family member! Thank you for everything Central Park Puppies. When my husband is ready for his Boxer we will definitely return.
See MoreI’ve been following Central Park puppies for a while. As soon as I decided to purchase my puppy they were very efficient and fast with communicating. I ask to FaceTime so I can see the puppy and also asked for some pictures from my puppies parents and they responded right away. Best decision I’ve ever made. Thank you Central Park puppies
Getting my sweet baby Rhygar from Central Park Puppies has been a magical experience!! He’s soooo sweet, he’s a chubby cute little boy full of energy and prone to mischief as most puppies are lol He keeps me and grandma busy and on our toes all day as he is highly intelligent and bred to herd livestock After introducing him to friends and coworkers, they all want a mini aussie now, his cuteness is infectious! Thank you Central Park Puppies for this wonderful addition to our family!!
See MoreI had been following Central Park puppies for a while before I decided to get my puppy. They made the experience extremely easy and fast. I'm extremely happy with my Bella!
I can't say enough about purchasing a pet through Central Park Puppies, thank you Veronica she stayed in touch with me and knew exactly the mini long hair dachsund we've been waiting for how much we love Gino and the service right to our door
I have dealt with many companies. None have come close to Central Park Puppies. During this pandemic many kids have been affected by the separation of friends and family to stay safe. As a mother I noticed this in my daughter. She has always asked for a dog, and what a perfect time to get her one. Central Park Puppies was a lifesaver. From the first call, they helped me with information on a dog I was interested in even when I was not sure I was going to purchase. The level of professionalism from their staff was phenomenal. I purchased a Doxipoo, she came the next day. The staff help with my phone purchase for a first time pup buyer and all the supplies I need. The delivery service was so kind and patient and professional and assisted me in surprising my daughter. And the addition to our family is exciting. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
See MoreI have purchased 3 pups from this location & let me tell you, they are amazing. Not only do they have a vast knowledge on all the pups they carry, you can tell they have a deep care for them. I recommend anyone wanting to get a beautiful new edition to their family should swing by Central Park Puppies.
We bought English Bulldog puppy from Central Park Puppies. I was referred to them after seeing another gorgeous dog that came from them. I gotta say...they are the way to go if you are looking to buy a puppy. Excellent communication, polite and friendly staff. They really care about the dogs and customers. YOU CAN TRUST CENTRAL PARK PUPPIES. 5 stars!
Was looking to get a dog to extend our family and was so glad to have come across Central Park Puppies! After much research about unethical breeders and puppy mills, I got hesitant about going to a pet store but luckily Central Park Puppies come with the guarantee of ethical breeders as well as breeder's information when I got my pup! The best thing is, they deliver it to your doorstep and even had a 24/7 service line to help you out if you're a first-time dog owner or even if you have any questions about your dog. Helping from the beginning til the end! Love them! If I wanted to expand my family more, would definitely go back to them!
See MoreAwesome people to work with. I had such a great experience that I referred one of my friends. Went and back and forth so many questions and they were super helpful. If I get another puppy will be from here. I need to recover first, still dealing with an Aussie puppy. In addition, most importantly Walker was healthy.
I received my lovely shiba puppy as a gift a little over a month ago. All I can say is so far so amazing ! I love my little guy so much. Over a month and half he has grown so much and brought me so much joy.
Thanks bbygirl !
Thanks CPP !!!
I was fortunate enough to be joined w/ Bruce all thanks to Central Park Puppies! I can't thank them enough. I was originally hesitant about the whole process considering the limitations placed in 2020. Admittedly, it was bit foreign to me...purchasing a puppy w/o interacting AND having them dropped off to your front door?! Sounds SOO absurd...I know. Trust me. However, Ash and the team instilled confidence in me and was very patient with answering the annoyingly amount of questions/details I had proposed to them. I will also preface that a family friend did originally recommend this organization to me. After sometime, I felt very confident in moving forward and waited until the time was right i.e. a litter of Golden Retrievers. I had gotten Bruce at an age of 8 weeks in Dec 2020. He was transported using a third-party pet transporting company. I have been told that typically the breeder would elect to drop off the puppy and to chat in-person; that was not the case (I believe this was modified due to the restrictions towards the end of 2020) for me. My only compliant, which is not a reflection of the breeder, Bruce, or Central Park Puppies was the third-party transporter - their demeanor was eh; I'm sure it was attributed to the fact that they had to drive from X state to NY, etc. and that lack of sleep played a role there. Nonetheless, he arrived safely and in timely manner. They were very professional with the process and ensuring the date/time that they were going to drop him off and kept in constant contact. Central Park Puppies works w/ breeders who know what they're doing i.e. responsible and NOT breeding puppies left and right for demand OR a quick buck. Bruce's temperament has been excellent since day one. I've received so many reassuring words about it from trainers and other folks in the neighborhood. He's been healthy and everything listed had checked out; I did also connect with another one of Bruce's littermates and he had expressed the same thoughts as well about his sweet boy. If you're on the market for a puppy, please do your due diligence on researching the breed that works best for you and your lifestyle. Speak with other dogs owners (they love talking about their pets) and see if it works best for you/your family. Please remember that not every breed is meant for every personality/lifestyle. Once you're confident in your selection, bother Ash and the team w/ any questions you may have and they will help you get things sorted. Don't rush the process. I hope this insight helps another soon to be dog parent!
See MoreI LOVEEEEE this place. I started following @CentralPups on Instagram a few months ago as my husband and I started having conversations about getting our first fur baby. When I DM’ed them on Instagram I received a response QUICKLY and literally at anytime. The person handling the social media site is professional, understanding and has a HUGE heart. Central pups is not your average puppy selling business- they care for their pups and truly want to make sure they are safe and happy. Their service doesn’t end at cash out they guide you along your journey of raising your dog. Providing different avenues of contact if you find yourself in an emergency situation or just simply have a question regarding your pups progress- I called A LOT and they were and are always super patient and understanding. I still follow them on social media and I’ve noticed that they are constantly trying to enhance the customer experience and find easier and seamless methods to connect puppies to their new families. This place always places the customers needs in the forefront. I’ve recommended this place to A LOT of people. Fun fact: they helped connect my puppy Archie @Archiesvault to his brother Milo. 💙
See MoreOur puppies found a forever home in our family! We love them so much & they are well behaved! Thank you to Julian for going above & beyond for us! 5 stars!
I have been looking around for months at different puppy stores, breeders, rescues…etc and Central Park Puppies kept standing out to me! They are professional, knowledgeable and very responsive. They were a pleasure to work with. Cannoli is an amazing puppy - she is friendly, playful and a great listener. I am so happy I went with CPP. If you are unsure where to purchase from this is the place!!!
My parents got me a female husky from here around 6 years ago. She is my everything and so far there has been so underlying health problems from her parents showing irresponsible breeding. I remember the staff being very friendly, even though we visited 7+ times to make sure she was the one, never judging us or forcing us to buy her. I will be getting another puppy from here in the future for sure.
We got our mini aussie 2 weeks ago, with just a few minutes with the puppy I could tell it came from excellent stock! Also confirmed by our Vet! As for Central Park Puppies, what a fantastic place. The staff was excellent, friendly and very very helpful. From the first call to the hand off, it was so well thought of and handled. I was very impressed with a care package that came with pupply supplies (wee wee pads, wet and dry food and detailed instructions on care and feeding, including cooking for the puppy and all the vaccine records. Over all, I am happy with Cental Park Puppies and love our little Runa. Screen reader support enabled.
See MoreI had weeks looking for a place to buy my puppy, but a lot of places are scams. I ended up finding this place and hands up is the Best dog place ever! I just got my baby yesterday and I am so happy. Fast pick up the dog was perfectly clean and healthy. They gave me bag with food and some other stuff. Definitely recommend this place.
I purchased my female red miniature poodle “Diva” on Oct 2019 & she has been great , healthy & a quick learner. When we purchased her the staff was nice & answered all my questions & they were very patient with me as to which dog I wanted to bring home, They had one named Ginger which was Diva sister & I was so undecided, I would definitely recommend this place to friends & family. 👍🏼
I bought a puppy pug at this store a few months back and I have to say no other store is quite like this one. The way they take care of you is like no other store. They also provide you with a package where you can get your first visit with a vet for free and they’ll take care of the bill. (I believe it’s in the first 7days of owning your pup) my pug is super healthy, happy & getting so big! Had to a moment to thank you for your professionalism and awesome pup! Heres Ozzy (his name used to be Oscar) he’s close to 5 months ❤️🥰😩💕
See MoreMy fiancé and I had been searching for a female Maltese puppy for nearly a year, and came across Central Park puppies. We live out of state so I had my concerns about getting a puppy transported to me, let alone from a puppy store. Central Park puppies was aware of my need and reached out in advance to let me know they had female Maltese puppies coming available. I worked mainly through Ash, who was wonderful!! Every time I had a question or concern, Ash communicated promptly with the breeder and got me all the information I needed, and continued to check in even after the pup arrived. I was very much concerned about having my puppy come from a breeder halfway across the country but she arrived safe and sound. I cannot recommend them enough - thank you Central Park puppies and thank you Ash for our little Minnie girl!
See MoreI had been on a puppy hunt for months and was ready to give up. With a pandemic and everyone wanting a puppy, it was nearly impossible! I contacted multiple shelters and breeders - all of which had a 6 month to 2 year waiting lists. I was hesitant to purchase a dog from a dog store, especially with out seeing it first, but I'm writing this post because I've had such an incredible experience with Central Park Puppies and I want anyone who's reading this to know that they are a great choice. I was able to speak with an incredible associate, Ash, through direct messenger on Instagram. Ash was so helpful and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions which ultimately made me feel confident in my decision. Before purchasing my puppy I made sure to ask for breeder information. I wanted to make sure these dogs were not coming from puppy mills. Ash sent me over detailed information about the breeders and I was able to research them on google, find their website, and I even picked up the phone and called them. They are a wonderful and well established breeder in Arkansas. The only small complaint that I have was delivery. They kept calling to push back the delivery time and we got our puppy pretty late at night, but the manager called me and compensated us for the delay. She was very apologetic and made the situation right which I really appreciated. They have also called us twice to check up and see how we were doing. Truly an incredible experience and fantastic customer service. Our puppy is perfect. He is fun, healthy, playful, and of course, adorable. I would strongly recommend anyone to go through Central Park Puppies for the next addition to their family.
See MoreOk, I don’t usually write reviews, but this business deserves a review 100%. I got a Shiba Inu puppy nearly two months ago. This was a new experience because I usually had support from my parents with my past dog. But now I was all alone. Central Park Puppies has an active Instagram to share your concerns and can receive an immediate response. They guided me because she is a timid puppy, and I was inexperienced with this situation. I took her to the Scarsdale Animal Hospital (the first visit is free if you take your puppy within 7 days of purchasing), and the rabies vaccine was free too. However, she was positive with the Coccidia parasite. CPP covered the medical expenses and the re-testing fast and guided me through it. They have a 24/7 calling center if you have any concerns or emergencies. The guy was very reliable. I took her to another vet and even did a blood test to secure that she is 100% healthy now. Her results were all good to go, and she is fit for now. Thank you, CPP!
See MoreI purchased my mini poodle Elly back in April and I could not be any happier. Julian was so attentive and helpful throughout the whole process. Although I did have to wait over an hour on the phone, it was worth it. My puppy got delivered the next day, healthy and cute as ever! I recommend this place to anyone that's looking to get a dog.
Got my Mini Poodle from here and they made everything easy for me. I never had a problem with them or my puppy. The place was very clean and I got help with everything from feeding to clothing there where just wonderful.
After being scammed once and looking through countless puppy stores for the perfect puppy. We finally came to the right place! The puppies are treated very nicely here. The workers will follow up with you after you received the puppy and/or is available via text or phone calls. If there is any fear that you will be scammed, it is not here. If there is any fear that there won't be any support for owners or even first time owners, look no more (even though it's still a handful I must admit it's the journey expected when you get a puppy). Upon paying for the puppy whether it's via CC or payment plana and etc. You will receive a step-by-step guide on how to handle puppies. They will let you know what things you need to get for the puppy before you receive them so you can get the best living situation for them set up. THEN, you also receive a phone number that you can call 24/7 or ask for a number you can text to receive additional support on raising your precious puppy. Although I am a first-time owner, and it's been a handful at times. I'm thankful I went with them. Other than being scammed once for a large amount of money, and hearing horror stories about how the puppy came in bad shape or there's no support from the store. This store is solid, they genuinely care about their puppies and their experience. If you're contemplating, look no further. They are the plug indeed. Also, shout out to Ash for making all of this possible!
